The EMDL is a hoistway interlock developed and manufactured by Porta, Inc.
With its stylish and slender design, this electro-mechanical locking device is
strictly intended for residential applications.
It is UL Listed, conforms to ASME A17.1. and has passed an accelerated life
test of 25 years of normal residential use (100,000 cycles).
